You are bidding for a set of 2 original on-site Canada Post, post office promo display posters that were used to promote The Living Legends Stamp Collection of Joni Mitchell and Paul Anka.
In June 2007, Canada Post issued a set of four 52-cent stamps celebrating Canadian music icons Joni Mitchell, Anne Murray, Paul Anka and Gordon Lightfoot. You are bidding for the 2 posters shown. The issue followed the previous summer’s popular Canadians in Hollywood issue.  The posters were for display purposes and not for sale, hence the extreme rarity of these posters. Each poster measures roughly 17x22 inches and is printed on thin poster stock. Each poster is double sided with both French and English appearing on each side.  The posters will come shipped, rolled in a secure double wall poster tube.
Please Note: the posters are in good shape but do have small creases in the corners that an be easily matted and framed out.
“Creating these stamps is Canada Post’s way of giving something back to these very talented artists, who have given so much to Canadians,” said Liz Wong, manager of stamp design and production at Canada Post, adding the four stamps were only the second Canada Post issue to honour living Canadians, the first being Oscar Peterson in 2005.
