These HF knives are good starters or for a little trimming between farrier visits. Blade is made with high carbon stainless Japanese Steel. The HRC of these blades are made with excellent sharpness & life, and are very durable! Handle is a "lifetime" synthetic handle. Similar to the popular Bloom Forge knife.
This is a right handed curved-blade knife. Can't find a better quality knife for the price!
