    Measurements: 8 1/4" Diameter, Total Depth: 4", Depth of Box: 3 1/2", Depth of Lid: 1/4" (measurements may not be exact)

    There are a few cosmetic wear places, mainly little 'dings' around the edge of the lid and bottom edge. Some discoloration seems to be from the varnish (or other type finish); this appears mostly on the bottom, but there are some drip areas around the edges. There is a 'groove' in the edge of the lid, which may be part of the nature of the wood. Additionally, the upper edge of the bottom piece, has an area that looks like a crack. However, it feels like the varnish/finish is smooth over the area, so it seems that it was part of the original craftmanship.
