We have been offering items from the estate of a large New York, Long Island and Connecticut family whose members traveled all around the world, often by cruise ship.   These items were used and displayed in the family's various homes for many years.  All pieces are "used" and sold "as is."  We will attempt to point out any serious imperfections in the pictures and/or description.
The details of this particular item appear below:
1.  A very fine 20th century Chinese Cloisonne double sided jar / box, (
approximately 4 inches across, 1.5 inches high)
.  The jar is decorated all over in a navy blue cloisonnes with a traditional Chinese character   symbol.
The bottom and top halves are virtually identical.
This is a very unusual and finely made piece.
Overall used condition is very good for its age.
